Let the UConn great debate being. The two head coaches have cemented their legacy in college basketball. We all know the facts of the Men’s game vs the Women’s game. Lets throw the sex part of the sport out of the window for this one instance.  Gino Auriemma has lead the UConn women to their 7th national title. He has has 15 Big East Titles and 14 Big East Tourney Championships. He women just completed their 2nd straight undefeated season extending their win streak to 78. Jim Calhoun has lead the UConn men to 2 national titles and 3 total Final Four appearances. He has coached 9 Big East Title teams and won 6 Big East Tourney Championships. Yes they are both the faces of Connecticut basketball. Each has proven to be a tremendous coach, leader, father figure, and friend to players at UConn. They share Storrs campus as part of their legacies. So lets look into the future and predict who will have the larger legacy at UConn once they have walked away from the game they love.
