Vinny Del Negro has lead his young  Bulls team to the playoffs two years in a row. You would assume that means he would have some job security for next season. Well job security does not exist in the NBA and not in Chicago. Del Negro has been thrown under the bus for his confrontation with GM John Paxson. The report surface that a heated argument between the two erupted following a game over Joakim Noah’s playing minutes. According to the Chicago Tribune, Del Negro met with Bulls chairman Jerry Reinsdorf to plead his case for returning to the Bulls. The reports are surfacing that this meeting will not save his job in Chicago. The Bulls are reportedly set to make the announcement tomorrow for Del Negro’s departure from the organization. If the Bulls do stick with their guns and pull the trigger on Del Negro what coach do you see coaching in Chicago next season? Do you think it is the right move to let Del Negro walk with 1 year, 2 million dollars left on his contract? Post your comments ……

  1. I think its ridiculous, the guy has gotten them to the playoffs 2 years in a row. You have coaches all over the league who dont make the playoffs for years in a row and still have a job. I thought he was a good coach and never got a fair shake with Paxson always having issues with him.
